Today the girls got to go rock climbing. This was a reward for all of the hard work they've been doing this summer with their workbooks. They all seemed to enjoy it but Zoe seemed to REALLY enjoy herself the most. This was her very first attempt at rock climbing and she took to it like a little monkey. Not only did she make it to the top all 5 times but she did it speedy-quick! Riley and Jaci liked it just fine and all three girls can't wait to try it again.

Riley's 10th Birthday
On Riley's 10th Birthday she decided to celebrate by going out to dinner to a Mexican restaurant called Los Pepo's. Even though her big birthday had to be postponed due to construction issues on the homefront, I think she enjoyed herself. And yes, her parents will make it up to her and she will soon be having a slumber party with a few friends. She wants to have a Nancy Drew mystery party...so if you have any brilliant ideas on how to make that happen then please let me know!! Um...like a.s.a.p.!! She's turning into quite the young lady. Is she only 10? She gets mistaken for at least 12 all the time. : )
Finally...Zoe got her braces!!!
On July 10th after a couple of rescheduling snafoos, Zoe did indeed get her braces! She was a trooper throughout the whole deal and an hour-and-a-half after her appointment started, she walked out with pink and green braces!! She took the dental assistant's advice, who told her to live dangerously and get all the colors that 'grown-ups' never would. After seeing how cute she looks, I'm not 100% sure I wouldn't have chosen those colors too. Take a look at that smile!! : )
